Mark A Winsor

Mark A. Winsor is proprietor of Winsor Law Group and a Founding Partner in Winsor & Tirado, PLC (Phoenix and Tucson) .   Mark has been an Entrepreneur for over 30 years.  He has created and developed businesses in financial services, international trade and distribution and professional services.  He is distinguished for his knowledge in Arizona’s anti-deficiency laws and in helping people facing foreclosure or selling their house through a short sale.

Mark served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Norway and learned to speak Norwegian fluently. After his mission he co-founded an import and distribution business in Norway. From 1991 to 2001 he built a Financial Services Business which spanned five states, including Utah, Ohio, Arizona, Hawaii and California.

For many years, Mark served in the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard and achieved the rank of Major.  His service included commanding a Field Artillery Battery and an appointment as the Social Actions officer for an Air National Guard base where he was responsible for investigating, counseling and training on issues related to discrimination, equal opportunity and sexual harassment cases.

Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California.  He is admitted to practice in the Arizona Federal District Court and is a member of the Arizona Bar and the Maricopa County Bar Association.  He served for many years on the Maricopa Bar Association Task Force for Minorities and Women.  Mark also sits on the Board of Lamson College and is a board member and former chair of Maricopa Lawyer, the monthly publication for the Maricopa Bar Association.

Mark and his wife Shelly have six children and five grandchildren. He is very active in his church and is also involved in scouting and martial arts. Mark hosts a talk show on radio station KQCKLive.com.
